So there's currently an email chain going around with private photos from Mario Lemieux's post-Stanley Cup pool party. I'm sure there's even a bunch of people, bloggers included, that want to post these online for all to see.

As someone who has seen 'em...yeah, they're unique. But they invade the privacy of someone who most likely didn't give you permission to post them. Using public photos from the Internet is one thing. Using private pictures is something else.

I hope my headline tricked you into coming here. Because you're not getting them from me.

If you use them, prepare to be called out.

Hey, thanks for respecting the integrity of the photos & the privacy of those photographed. Turns out you're right: they were private photos that were never meant to hit the internet. And the 12 year old that didn't know any better and posted them to her photo sharing site has been paying for it (and then some) ever since.

Kids & the internet don't mix.

Well said. Agree agree agree.

So far I've been emailed through my blog by 8 girls telling some seriously fake stories about goings-on at that party.

Can't people just shut up and stop trying to edge in on the limelight?

I was sent these photos and have not forwarded them on. I came to this site because I was trying to figure out how they got out knowing how private the Lemieux Family is and how (most) Pens fans honor that. I am sorry to hear that it was the young girl in the photos who made the mistake of sharing them with her friends. Thank you for not posting those pictures and standing out out as one Pens faithful who love our team and support them in all ways.

We were at a stanley cup party ourselves, it wasn't so private but very respectful and fun. What a great oppurtunity to be invited to such a once in a life time event!!!!!
So glad these photos are staying private they deserve it!!!
