Man, you know I love looking at classic commercials that featured Pittsburgh sports stuff (1, 2, 3). It’s especially cooler when we get one with Pirates players, cos it’s hard to remember them being culturally relevant enough to star in a national ad.
Well here’s one of ’em…an old spot for 7Up featuring Dave Parker of the Pirates, as well as Mike Schmidt and Bruce Sutter.
Can’t believe that vendor just reached over and gave Parker a free drink. Athletes and celebrities get all the perks…
