A Kid From Pittsburgh Won The French Open Juniors Title

Bjorn Fratangelo is a 17-year old kid from Pittsburgh. He also just won tennis’ French Open Mens Juniors title. John McEnroe was the last American Mens Juniors winner at the French back in 1977. So go Pittsburgh!

When I was a high school junior I was actively trying to schedule my senior year classes so that I wouldn’t have to be bothered with math and science. The Pittsburgh kid with the legendary first name (he was named after Borg) got busy winning the largest possible prize on one of the trickiest surfaces in the sport at the same age. I think he’s gonna go on to do more than write a Pittsburgh sports and miniature horse blog. I can totally help if he wants to, though.
