A quick word on the title of this post. This is the 3rd straight year where we’ve seen the kid in the following video mimic the batting stances of our Pittsburgh Pirates. Here is 2009. And 2010. I lovingly said he wasted time the past 2 years cos those teams sucked. Ramón Vázquez-level sucked. Erik Kratz-level sucked.
But here we are just past Independence Day and our Buccos are over .500. So any and all time dedicated to learning the ins and outs of the batting stances of this Pirates roster is well worth it. Plus, the Josh Harrison bat-pickup-into cleat-smack killed me.
