Great Moments In Unlicensed Pittsburgh Sports Merch: Cavemen > Cleveland

Here’s an awesome unlicensed Pittsburgh sports shirt that’s hanging from the ceiling at Foley’s, our Penguins bar in Manhattan. We talk about it all the time during Pens games, but I’ve been too lazy to raise my arms and take a picture of it for PSAMP. It’s about time, now.

Here’s the front of the shirt. It reads, “Beating Cleveland is so easy…

And here’s the back, which states, “…Even a Caveman can do it.”

And then there’s a picture of a Caveman smashing a Browns player with his club.

Tired Geico references aside, you gotta love any unlicensed sports vendor that’s more than willing to trash the city of Cleveland. Part of being a Steelers fan is immediately and fully hating the Browns, no matter how awful they may or may not be in any given season. Officially-licensed NFL Shop shirts probably don’t have the freedom to rag on another city.

Come to think of it, this shirt is not only unlicensed as it pertains to Pittsburgh sports, it’s also ripping off a most-likely licensed Geico slogan. That’s like double the fun!

If you have any unlicensed Pittsburgh sports gear, or awesome generic sports gear from any team, send them to me and I’ll post them.
