There’s been a lot of excitement around these 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates. The currently-above-.500 record and battle for 1st place has reignited some long-dormant emotions. So let’s go back and look how lovey-dovey the Pirates were during their last successful years.

As you can see it was total player/coach harmony that led to the Pirates’ success. Clint Hurdle must constantly tell these guys to “f**kin’ bunt!” That must be it.
