Did you know that the AFC Championship trophy is called the Lamar Hunt trophy, after the Chiefs founder/owner? They did that because they knew it would be the closest the team could get to winning the AFC since 1969.
Really, it’s hard to trash this team. They’re horrible, play in the Midwest, and wear red. Tony Gonzalez isn’t there anymore, neither is Larry Johnson. Dwayne Bowe is suspended…I really don’t know who we’re going to be playing on Sunday.
But there’s still a game, a game that needs to be won. So there’s your inspiration. There’s no more wallowing in the Bengals loss…time to take it out on the Chiefs.
