Unless you live in or regularly visit one tiny little area in southern New Jersey, then you have no idea what Cowtown is.
It’s a rodeo, but there’s also a massive flea market with a million vendors. I went there when I visited my folks almost three months ago, and you better believe I found the unlicensed Steelers gold that you see above. Sorry it took so long to get it here, the picture was stuck on my old phone. Cowtown was one of its last ventures, so the pics were all on the almost-forgotten memory card.
The shirt is pretty straightforaward, so there’s not much for me to describe. If you ain’t a Steeler fan, you ain’t shit!
First off, I didn’t know you could use ain’t twice in one sentence. But even then, there’s an ill-placed exclamation point after the word fan, so maybe this is just 2 really awkward sentences. Nevermind that STEELER should actually be STEELERS…perhaps that was the vendor’s way of getting around a possible license.
While I whole-heartedly endorse the message of this shirt, I agree that the vendor could’ve been a little more polite about it. Sure, as a Steelers fan, you wanna tell everyone that your team is better than their team. This guy did. But he at least didn’t go to the extreme of cussing out rival fans and insulting their very being.
The message holds true, though. Other fans really ain’t shit.
If you have any unlicensed Pittsburgh sports gear, or awesome generic sports gear from any team, send them to me and I’ll post them.
