Some crazy Czechs are putting on a play about the life of Jaromir Jagr or something. I linked you to it a few days ago from The Pensblog via LGP. Honestly, it may have a deeper plot, but there’s only so much Czech-to-English translation I can try to decipher before my brain hemorrhages.
There’s video at this link, (which I’ve taken the liberty of translating for you guys here) that shows you just how awesome this thing is supposed to be.
Anyway, the picture above shows Jagr (on the left) talking with Lemieux (on the right). And I think I speak for all of us when I say I’m a little put off by the lack of the Jagr mullet. And the best actor they could get for Lemieux was a fat guy?
Then again, fake-Jagr seems to be wearing a futuristic Penguins uniform, so I’d have to imagine the relationship between this nuts play and the reality of Pittsburgh and the Penguins is very slim. Unlike fake-Lemieux.
