Has it really only been a few seasons that he’s been gone? Because if you look at that shirt, it seems much longer. I probably had a similar Yancey Thigpen one in the 90s with the exact same background stuff and nightmare blue/red hell-sky. But the Randle El one is classic due to the EL YEAH! slogan. Thanks to The Steelers n’at for reminding me of the catchphrase and promising me a picture of another version of this shirt.
I hope ‘twaan can again perform well for Pittsburgh. Not the Steelers…this shirt makes no mention of them. And the Steelers logo is removed from the front of Randle El’s jersey, as well as having his helmet luckily showing the non-logo side. That’s like an unlicensed vendor’s dream.
I’m excited to have Randel El back, PRIMARILY for the shirts.
