It’s no secret that Big Ben Roethlisberger has been in the news recently for all the wrong reasons. No matter if you think he is innocent or guilty of these assault charges, you can’t put a positive spin on it. He’s in a he-said, she-said predicament, and it’s all out in the open with the 24-hour sports media world.
So do you think some unlicensed vendor is gonna sit back and wait for him to win another Super Bowl in order to make new generic Big Ben shirts to sell in the Strip District or some shoddy flea market? Nope. Why not allude to Big Ben’s legal issues in a shirt of its own? I mean, if the fans are gonna wear unlicensed Steelers shirts during the good times, then why won’t those same people wear ’em when the situation is gloomier?
Is he guilty? Is her innocent? We may never know the truth. We DO know that the whole deal could’ve been avoided had this unlicensed vendor warned Ben sooner. Keep LITLE BEN in your pants, and nothing can be misinterpreted.
The cheerleaders on that shirt are not there to “fix your tv,” and I doubt they’ll “meet you in the bathroom.”
