I made sure to use some of my time back at Steelers training camp this weekend to actively look for generic shirts and stuff floating around. So in between taking one million shots of Dennis Dixon in action at St. Vincent, I made sure to spy the crowds for a few winners. Steelers fans didn’t disappoint.
The first one we’ll look at is the classic Dino’s Sports Lounge shirt. Dino’s is one of two local sports lounge/wing joints in Latrobe. And now Dino’s has expanded to a second location in Greensburg. Even though we stayed in a hotel in Greensburg, me, Cotter, Stan and my best friend Bob who lives in Greensburg went to the original Latrobe location for Dick LeBeau’s Hall of Fame induction on Saturday.
When I was in college, I had a few friends, my boy Uncle Shawn and my girl Jen, work at Dino’s, and a buncha people around school naturally had these shirts. They evolve over the years, but always feature the logo and some Steelers imagery during training camp time. You can see the 3 hypocycloids, but that isn’t an officially-licensed Steelers logo. Wish I coulda zoomed in more to catch exactly what the fine print says.
And what does the Dino’s logo think of this shirt?
Awesome.
