With the emergence of James Harrison and young guys like LaMarr Woodley, it’s easy to forget how awesome Joey Porter was. Him and Jason Gildon teaming up? Dirty.
On the road to Super Bowl XL, the Steelers had to famously play on the road against the top 3 seeds in the AFC. The championship game was in Denver, a place Porter knew all-too well. He got shot in the asscheek in the trigger-happy Colorado town. After the Steelers beat the Colts in the Bettis-Fumble/Nick-Harper-Recovery/Roethlisberger-Tackle/Vanderjagt-Shank game, Porter celebrated in the locker room by yelling this now-iconic phrase. Had I known of this dude’s shirt back during that playoff run, I would’ve done anything to own one. Man, Joey could get you pumped up for a game.
