You’ll remember that Steve also sent in this anti-Pirates shirt from a previous ShopNSave trip. Man, that grocery store has mad beef with a baseball team. Oddest feud ever.
The word PITTSBURGH replaces STEELERS in the three-hypocycloid logo in order to get around the official license, and there’s no mention of the Pens in their logo either. The official Pirates script is only used in the P, and they’ve attached the rest of the word in a different font so it can’t be called out as totally ripping off the standalone P logo on the baseball hats. This shirt was intricate in its generality, but pulled it off.
