It’s like in the Futurama episode, The Farnsworth Parabox. The Professor creates an alternate universe where everyone only has slight differences. Each universe thinks the other is full of evil twins. See this clip:
Right after, Leela tells the Professor about her “evil” twin:
“We’re exactly the same. I know all her moves. Therefore, I’ve got the upper hand.”
So she goes to kick the twin Leela, thinking she’s the only one that thought of that scenario. And since they’re “twins,” the end result is a midair collision because they both thought the same and did the same move.
Like the Pounceys, who both went in for a celebratory embrace, only both went for it at the same time. Big deal.
