Thanks to my friend Lindsay for this. She spotted it at Heinz Field during the Browns/Steelers game in October (the queue of submissions is pretty long). She says:
“i went to the game today and i saw something that takes us back to our roots.
I walked past him and i was like no. this needs to be on psamp. this shirt was made for it.”
This is the second S. Vincent Steelers training camp shirt in the Great Moments library. Lindsay, my sister and I are all St. Vincent graduates, so we’ll always have that connection to the Steelers.
And now with the season over thanks to a crushing Super Bowl loss, I’m already thinking of the draft, nice weather and going back for my annual training camp trip. Is it summer yet?
