This isn't the picture you want defining your team's play late in any given season. I mean, dropping a potential win into a 27-24 OT loss to the Cowboys is crushing, moreso when it's a 4th loss in 5 rollercoaster–puke–worthy weeks.
The Steelers had a chance to win, too. 2nd-to-last drive, Ben hits Will Johnson for 21 yards, getting the team to the Dallas 43. A bubble screen and run get the team to the 37, setting up a potential long 54 yards FG in a mostly indoor stadium if the team does no worse than a zero yard gain. The snap is a little off and Ben is sacked back to the 39. Out of FG range, Steelers punt. Next-to-last possession, 5 plays, -5 yards, 2 straight sacks of Ben. Last possession, kneel. 3 points on that Will Johnson drive wins the game. That's how much 2-3 yards changes the game in the NFL, in spite of any and all errors by Antonio Brown, Ben Roethlisberger, or anyone else.
Steelers: I would literally have an aneurysm trying to rate individual performances here. Steelers lost and sit precariously out of the playoffs with only 2 weeks left. 0 of 5 motorcycle helmets.
Learn to hate this man, Steelers Nation. Postseason hinges on his demise. Here we go.
