Man we’ve had a jillion unlicensed merch posts over the years at PSAMP, but I can’t remember off the top of my head if we’ve ever had unlicensed foodstuffs.
The thing about the 2012 Pirates’ ZOLTAN love is that you need hands to complete the expression. Like, even nuns get it. Left hand on top, right on bottom, and you’ll eventually hang out with cool aliens who like you! Just adding a Z makes me think Zorro got pissed at Steel City desserts. And why would Zorro be that much of a jerk? Desserts rule.
So yeah, the baker added the name of the team in order to explain the rogue Z on the cookie cake, but that’s about as basic as possible. If you can’t make hands out of icing, then learn.
