Thanks to battle bot for this. He says:
“yo this is another blast jam, whenever I paint live at a show I wear it #doubleyoi“
This isn’t the first time the legendary Myron Cope has been featured on an unlicensed shirt. His YOI catchphrase, also noted on this one, was the main subject of this joint.
It’s safe to say that Myron’s passing hit Pittsburghers hard. He had been associated with the local sports scene for so long that it was impossible to remember a time without him. And his passing made a Myron-less world a harsh reality. It took awhile to adjust to a Steelers radio broadcast with Hillgrove and no Cope.
So I guess what I’m saying is I’m cool with any and all Myron Cope references. Actually, there need to be way more generic Myron Cope shirts in Pittsburgh.
If you have any unlicensed Pittsburgh sports gear, or awesome generic sports gear from any team, send them to me and I’ll post them.
